Search continues for missing Nanaimo man

The Nanaimo RCMP, assisted by Nanaimo Search and Rescue(NSAR), is searching north Nanaimo for a missing man whose family is extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.

64 year Gregory McKenzie was last seen at approximately 1:30 PM on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at his north Nanaimo residence. Based on information provided by his family, police, NSAR and at one point an RCMP helicopter were focusing their search efforts in the area of Green Lake, located off of Jenkins Road in north Nanaimo.

McKenzie is 5 ft. 9, 170 pounds with curly white hair and blue eyes. The picture provided is recent. As far as clothing, he is believed to be wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue pants and a grey zip up hoodie.
