Terrace RCMP Detachment Crime Reduction Unit conducted enforcement action

Last week the Terrace RCMP Detachment Crime Reduction Unit conducted enforcement action in conjunction with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia’s Uniformed Gang Enforcement Team (UGET).

As a result of these combined efforts, several arrests and multiple seizures were made, including weapons, trafficking quantities of drugs including crystal methamphetamine, ammunition, body armour, cash and a firearm. Some of the weapons seized included a crowbar, extendable baton, knives, replica pistol, and other home-made weapons.

In addition, officers also initiated an impaired investigation, issued an immediate roadside prohibition, and impounded a vehicle. Charges for other offences will be recommended to crown counsel.
