Paper shredding event this weekend at Wembley Mall

On June 17, 2023 between 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Oceanside Community Safety will be hosting a confidential paper shredding event at Wembley Mall in Parksville.

Oceanside Community Safety has partnered with Wembley Mall and BEST Shredding to host a paper shredding event where residents can bring all of their confidential papers to be shredded on site.

The event is being held at Wembley Mall located at 826 Island Highway West, Parksville. The cost for shredding is $15.00 per banker box and proceeds will go toward supporting Oceanside Community Safety’s public safety and crime prevention activities.

"This is a popular event where residents can bring in all of those old files, papers and receipts they have been holding on to and be assured they are disposed of securely and on site," says Sergeant Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP.
