The event took place on Saturday November 19th, in front of the Lake Cowichan Country Grocer, where the Scouts and RCMP successfully stuffed a police cruiser, and Scout canoe with donated food.

The support here from residents in the Town of Lake Cowichan, and all the neighbouring communities, was absolutely amazing said Constable David Prak. As the need for our local food bank continues to grow each year, so does the support from the community.

Constable David Prak said A huge thank you to 1st Lake Cowichan Scouts, and the Lake Cowichan Country Grocer for helping make this event so successful. We couldn’t have done it without either of them.
