The Merritt RCMP Community Policing Office wants to encourage local residents and business owners to consider joining Block Watch and Business Watch!

Block Watch

Why join Block Watch you ask? Block Watch provides the following benefits:

- You will get to know your neighbors and build relationships in your community;

- You will have a direct link to the Community Policing Office where you will receive information about Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and how to help police if your property falls victim to crime;

- You are contributing to a safer community.

Business Watch

Why should local businesses join Business Watch? Business Watch provides the following benefits:

- You will have a direct link to the Community Policing Office where you will receive information about Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and how to help police if your business falls victim to crime;

- You will join a network of other businesses where you can learn and share information about local crimes and crime prevention techniques;

- You are contributing to a safer community and downtown core.
