Mischief to Nuyumbalees Cultural Centre

On July 12th, 2022 at approximately noon, Quadra RCMP received a report of damage to the Nuyumbalees Cultural Centre. Officers arrived on scene and located a damaged and spraypainted tent, burnt logs, and copious amounts of garbage strewn around the impromptu campsite. The group had also sprayed the words "red gang" and "red" as well as many other unintelligible words and doodles. It appeared that the inconsiderate campers decided to stay in the area without permission and then proceeded to leave their unwanted garbage and artwork in the vicinity before departing.
