Kelowna RCMP investigating fatal collision involving cyclist

The Kelowna RCMP are on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist on Highway 97 and Parkinson Road in Kelowna.

The intersection is closed to one lane in all directions until further notice and have traffic control persons in place to assist.

The RCMP are asking motorists to avoid the area and will provide an update when it becomes available.

If anyone witnessed the collision or was driving in the area at the time and has dash-camera footage, please call the Kelowna RCMP at (250) 762-3300.
