Intoxicated in public
On March 30 at 3:30pm, a woman reported seeing a man passed out sleeping near the front doors Cayoosh Elementary school. Police attended and located a man from Lytton who was intoxicated, and unable to stand on his own. Police arrested the man for being intoxicated in public and held him in cells to sober up safely.

Consume liquor in public
On March 31, Lillooet RCMP conducted pro-active patrols of Downton Park and observed a man and woman drinking from a 2L container of cider. Lillooet RCMP had the couple pour out a 2L of cider. No evidence of intoxication.

No insurance
On March 31 at 9:00pm, Lillooet RCMP located a pickup truck with a burnt out headlight. The vehicle was stopped, and then it was found the truck also had expired insurance. The driver was also unable to produce her drivers licence. The driver was issued a violation ticket for no insurance ($598), fail to produce driver’s licence ($81), and drive without lighted lamp ($81).

Intoxicated in public
On April 1 at 2:20pm, a man reported seeing another man wearing a hi-vis vest standing in the middle of Main St near 7th Ave. Police attended and located the man who was highly intoxicated. The intoxicated man was arrested and transported to Lillooet cells and held until sober. The man was also found to have an outstanding arrest warrant that was actioned.

Consume liquor in public
On April 1 at 3:30pm Lillooet RCMP conducted pro-active patrols of Downton Park and observed open containers of alcohol including a 2L of cider, nearly full mickey of vodka, 1 can of hard ice tea, and 1 can of beer. All open alcohol was poured out. No evidence of intoxication by anyone in the park at that time.

Indecent Act
On April 1 at 3:45pm, a woman reported seeing a man masturbating near the train tracks on 7th Ave. Police attended and located one man known to police, who was then fully clothed and denied masturbating that day. Insufficient evidence to proceed.

Road check
On April 1 at 10:40pm Lillooet RCMP and Stl’atl’imx Police conducted a road check on Seton Lake Rd near Main St. Approximately 30 vehicles were checked, with no signs of any impaired drivers. Verbal warnings were issued for fail to display front plate, and fail to produce drivers licence. The road check was concluded at 11:40pm.

Cause disturbance
On April 2 at 12:15am, Lillooet RCMP received a complaint from a man who reported a neighbour on Panorama Terrace was using an impact drill out on the roadway, and causing lots of noise. Lillooet RCMP attended where the noisy neighbour apologized, packed up his tools and went inside without issue.

Breach of condition
On April 4 at 7:45am, a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend showed up at her residence the previous night and slept on her covered porch without her permission. The woman added when she asked her ex-boyfriend to leave, he stated it’s raining you should have some sympathy, my jacket is all wet. The man was on no-contact conditions with the woman, and departed sometime in the early hours that morning. The file is still under investigation.

Intoxicated in public
On April 4 at 4pm, a woman reported seeing a heavily intoxicated 33-year-old man in the 900 block of Main St. Police attended and located a man in matching clothing who was unable to walk on his own. The man was arrested and transported to Lillooet cells to safely sober up. The man was held overnight and released the next morning on April 5.
 
Intoxicated in public
On April 5 at 12pm, police received a report of an injured female at Downton Park. Lillooet RCMP and Stl’atl’imx Police attended and located a female requesting an ambulance, but was uncooperative with police in detailing what happened. A 33 year-old man that was released from Lillooet cells earlier than morning was found to be intoxicated in public, and was arrested. A 51 year-old man was also arrested for being intoxicated in public. Both males were held in cells until sober.

Suspicious person
On April 5 at 10pm, a woman reported she was driving down Main St and believed she observed a man with his pants down, possibly masturbating, in the 600 block of Main St. Police attended and located a man known to police, who denied masturbating. The woman was unable to confirm if the man was masturbating or just had his pants down for some other reason. Insufficient evidence to proceed.
