Police respond to 370 calls from January 4 to January 17

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 407 calls from Monday January 4, to midnight on Sunday January 17. Of those calls approximately 86 occurred between Friday the 8 and Sunday the 10 and 93 occurred between Friday the 15 and Sunday the 17. Below are some highlights from calls for service received:

on the evening of Thursday January 7, 2021 the Terrace RCMP responded to a report of a domestic in progress on Highway 16 west. A third party advised they were calling on behalf of a pregnant woman who had advised that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The male was presently bound by no-contact conditions with the victim. Police attended where it was discovered that the female had been assaulted and forcibly confined by the man. Police arrested the man and transported him to Terrace RCMP Detachment. The file has been forwarded to BC Prosecution for review. 

In the early morning of Saturday January 9, 2021 Terrace RCMP were dispatched to a report of a domestic in progress. A man advised that he had attempted to remove his girlfriend from his residence when he was stabbed by the woman. The Police attended both parties were uncooperative with Police. The woman was arrested for and transported to Terrace RCMP Detachment. The man was taken to hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.

On the evening of Saturday January 15, 2021 Terrace RCMP responded to report of a disturbance on
Queensway Drive in Thornhill, BC. Police attended and spoke with a man who advised that he resided with his elderly mother. The man had invited a guest to the house who was at that time bound by conditions to not be at this residence. The elderly woman was potentially put at risk under Covid-19 guidelines. Police advised the male was found to be in contravention of Section 4(1) of the Emergency Program Act Protective Measures (Covid-19) and was issued a violation ticket for $2300. The guest was taken from the property and faces charges of breach. 

The Terrace RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a wanted person. Zachary Austin Richard DIXON is wanted for charges of Fail to Comply with Sentence. DIXON is described to be 20 years old, 5’4 tall, Indigenous, approximately 111lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. Do not confront the wanted.

The Terrace RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a wanted person. Randy Douglas McPhadyen is wanted for charges of Drive while Prohibited. MCPHADYEN is described as Caucasian, approximately 34 years old, 5’6, 150lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. Do not confront the wanted.

The Terrace RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a wanted person. Marty Clayton is wanted for charges of Sexual Assault. CLAYTON is described as Indigenous, 45 years old, 5’6 and 241 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. Do not confront the wanted.
