Police respond to 189 calls from December 7 to December 13

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 189 calls from Monday December 7, 2020 to midnight on Sunday December 13 2020. Of those calls approximately 72 occurred between Friday the 11 and Sunday the 13. Below are some highlights from calls for service received: 

On the evening of Wednesday, December 9, 2020, Terrace RCMP were alerted of a missing suicidal youth who had run away from home. Members conducted an extensive ground search which included both general duty members and Police Dog services. The youth was later located safely by Police and returned to the family’s care without incident.  

On the morning of Friday, December 11, 2020 Terrace RCMP received a request to assist EHS in located an adult male who was reported to have been rolling around, screaming and hitting parked cars. Police attended and conducted patrols in the area where they were able to locate the man, who appeared agitated and advised members he had taken an unknown illicit drug. Police placed the male under arrest and were able to verbally communicate and deescalate the scenario. The male was safely able to obtain care by EHS and was transported to hospital for treatment. The male was later released once sober and able to safely care for himself.

On the evening of Sunday, December 13, 2020 Terrace RCMP responded to a report of a check well-being. A homeowner reports that an unknown female who appeared to be intoxicated had entered her residence and began removing her clothing. Police attended and located the adult female inside asleep, partially clothed and who appeared unwell. Members called for EHS and the female was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for care. 

The Terrace RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a wanted person. Wanted on Terrace files: 2019-2745, 2018-12127 and 2019-635. Amanda Bird is wanted for charges of two counts Theft Under $5000 and Utter Forged Document. Bird is described to be 30 years old, 5’6 tall, approximately 130lbs with brown hair, and blue eyes. If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. Do not confront the wanted. 

The Terrace RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a wanted person. Wanted on Terrace files: 2020-1531, 2020-4472 and 2020-9342. Dillon James Loendorf is wanted for charges of Breach of Probation x 2, Breach of Release Order x 2, Discharge Firearm, Possession of Firearm while Prohibited x 2 and Possession of Firearm without License. Loendorf is described as approximately 25 years old, 5'10", 201lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. Do not confront the wanted.

The Terrace RCMP are requesting assistance in locating a wanted person. Wanted on Terrace files: 2020-7809, 2020-8515, 2020-9112 and 2020-9099, Cali Ronald Harold Peal-Barton is wanted for charges of Uttering Threats, Breach of Probation, Breach of Release Order x 2, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Mischief Under $5000, Breach of Probation x 3 and Assault with a weapon. Peal-Barton is described as Indigenous, 26 years old, 6’1 and 170 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. If located, contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. Do not confront the wanted.
