File # 2022-24280

Prince George RCMP are looking for the owner of a unique bicycle they recovered on July 10, 2022.

While investigating a break and enter to a compound on the 1700-block of Lyon Street, Frontline police officers located a bicycle that may have been left behind by the suspect.

It is a white Cervelo men’s road bike. We have checked our local police databases, as well as with 529 Garage and local bike shops and so far, have not been able to locate any owner information. We are hoping the owner will hear of this and come forward to claim their bicycle, as it is a unique and high-end road bike. It is possible the bike was stolen from outside of Prince George, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

To claim this item the owner will have to provide specific details such as the colour, make, model and serial number of the bike. They can attend the Prince George RCMP Detachment in person, or else call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with a police officer.

If you have any information about this or any other criminal offence, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (English only). You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.

Consider registering your home or business surveillance system with the City of Prince George’s CCTV registry. For more information, visit the City of Prince George website at www.princegeorge.ca/cctv (English only).
