Police asking for public’s assistance in identifying assault suspect

The Sea to Sky Squamish RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in an assault investigation.

On February 7, 2024 at about 1:30 p.m., the Squamish RCMP was contacted by a male victim who had been assaulted in the area of Bailey Street and Summits View Drive. The victim reported that he was walking his dog when the male suspect, who was also walking his dog, approached the victim, assaulted him, and then departed toward Bailey Street. The victim sustained numerous injuries in the assault.

We are releasing a forensic sketch of the suspect in an attempt to identify this individual, said Constable Katrina Boehmer, Media Relations Office for Sea to Sky RCMP. If you recognize this person, please contact the Squamish RCMP’s non-emergency line at 604-892-6100.
