Burnaby RCMP seeks the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect

Burnaby RCMP is asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery that occurred in a parkade in the early morning hours of September 27, 2023.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., Burnaby RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress in a parking lot near Dominion Street and Sumner Avenue. The victim was sitting in his vehicle when the suspect opened the car door, assaulted the victim and took $3,300 in cash.

Extensive patrols were conducted in the area; however, the suspect was not located.
