File # 2022-22727

The Kelowna RCMP is investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred just before 5:00 a.m. this morning.

Kelowna RCMP officers responded to a report that a vehicle had crashed into a business in the 1900-block area of Enterprise Way. When officers arrived on scene they located the vehicle involved, a black Porsche Cayenne. The driver had left the scene prior to police arrival and could not be located.

Investigators have identified the driver as a 40-year-old man from Kelowna. Two men were struck by the vehicle and they sustained minor injuries.

The victims have been uncooperative in this investigation and it appears to have been an isolated incident with no risk to public safety, states Cpl. Tammy Lobb, Media Relations Officer for the Kelowna RCMP. There was extensive damage done to the business and we are grateful no bystanders were injured.

The investigation is on-going and is being led by the Kelowna RCMP General Investigative Support Team (GIST). Charges may be pending against the driver.
