
Bernard Grempel is still missing, one year later

Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with information about Bernard Grempel’s disappearance that could assist police with locating him.
May 14, 2022, marks one year since the last time Bernard Grempel was seen. Leading up to his disappearance investigators have confirmed that Bernard entered the Surrey Central Skytrain station at 10:31 p.m., took the skytrain, and arrived at the 22nd Street station located in New Westminster at 10:53 p.m. Investigators believe that Bernard boarded the 340 bus at 10:59 p.m., which travels to Scottsdale exchange. Despite extensive video canvassing, police were not able to confirm where Bernard disembarked the bus.
Bernard Grempel was last seen on video wearing red sweat pants, a white hoody, blue medical mask, and black/white Nike runners. He is described as a 29-year-old man, 6’0 tall, with a slim build, curly brown hair and brown eyes.

As our investigation continues, we are encouraging anyone with any information who has not yet spoken with investigators to contact Surrey RCMP.
